“LOOSE HIM, AND LET HIM GO”

One of the most significant episodes in our Savior's mortal ministry is the raising of Lazarus from the dead after he had lain in the tomb for four days. It is an astounding public miracle that illuminates core truths about Christ and His Atonement.

In the story Christ receives desperate word from Martha and Mary to come to Bethany, for their brother is deathly ill. Jesus deliberately delays His journey for two days, then announces that Lazarus is dead and that He and His disciples must go to him.

When Christ arrives in Bethany, Martha greets Him with weeping and a gentle rebuke: "Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died" (John 11:21). Martha's complaint is followed by her fervent testimony: "But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee" (v. 22). Jesus affirms His own role and identity: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" (v. 25).

The grieving of the sisters, the wailing of the mourners, Christ's own tears, the hostility of certain ones in the crowd, and the melancholy of the grave site constitute a crescendo of human emotion. Jesus commands that the stone covering the tomb's entrance be removed. Martha objects, saying, "Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days" (v. 39). Christ says, "If thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God" (v. 40). The stone is removed, and Jesus offers a prayer of gratitude.

The climactic moment comes when Christ cries out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth" (v. 43). Can you imagine the combination of hope, terror, and surprise the people feel when Lazarus obeys and rises, "bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face . . . bound about with a napkin" (v. 44)? The sight and smell of this dead man must have been more than some could bear. Then came Christ's second command to certain others standing by: "Loose him, and let him go" (v. 44).

Christ was commanding the people to free Lazarus, to remove the graveclothes and unbind the wrappings from around his eyes, mouth, hands, and feet—the wrappings of the grave. For he lived again! Think of the joy! But can we imagine also the hesitancy of some to reach out and remove the graveclothes? No doubt some shrank away completely.

For me the Lazarus story provides one of the most powerful metaphors of the Atonement of Christ for all humankind. We are all like Lazarus, beloved of the Lord, but wrapped about in the graveclothes of this world.

I pray that the story of Lazarus will take root more deeply in all of us; that the power of the Atonement will give us courage to "come forth" and allow our graveclothes to be removed; and that we might be both the healers and the healed, the unbinders and the unbound.

THE SEVEN BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM

Galatians 3:9-14
Galatians 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
- 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
- 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
- 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
- 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
- 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There are more than 40 blessings in the Word given to Abraham either for him or those who would be through blessings would be blessed. In this sermon outline we list only seven of the blessings given to or through Abraham. The blessing of Abraham begin in Genesis 12: 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
- 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
- 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
May we as children of God receive all God have for us through our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I. The first blessing is Genesis 12:1 ...unto a land that I will shew thee:
God who desires to lead us by His Spirit would like to lead us to the place in our live to serve him.
A. Lead us to our spouse.
B. Lead us to our church.
C. Lead us to our education.
D. Lead us to our job.
E. Lead us in our calling.
We do this by letting the Holy Spirit Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
God doesn't bless us just to make us happy; He blesses us to make us a blessing.

II. Blessing number two of Abraham. Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation,
A. We are part of a great family, the family of God.
B. We do not join it. You have to be born into to it by receiving Jesus.
1. Shaking hands with a preacher and joining church is not enough.
a. You must be born again.

III. Blessing number three in Genesis 12:2 ...and I will bless thee,
A. God wants to bless us and meet every need of our lives. Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

B. He knows what we have need of before we know ourselves.
C. He wants us to have life and more abundantly. John 10:10 ..... The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
D. He will do more than we can think or ask. How by the power in us, which is the Holy Spirit. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

IV. Blessing number four. Genesis 12:2 ...and make thy name great,
A. Years ago my wife and I were guests of the Lord Mayor of Cheltenham, England. We were asked to sign the book of special guests. We signed our name below the signature of Queen Elizabeth the Queen of England. As I signed the book I was reminded of the Holy Spirit that Jesus has signed the Book of Life for me with His own precious blood. Praise the Lord!
B. We rejoice because God has made our names great because of Jesus.

V. Blessing number five Genesis 12:2 ...and thou shalt be a blessing:
A. God wants us to be a blessing to all people.
B. Take the Gospel to the world.
C. Our lights need to shine in the sin dark world.

VI. Blessing number six of Abraham Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee,
A. God does not only want us to bless but also be a blessing.
B. When we bless others we can expect it to come back to us.
C. Some people have told us that they have given to our missionary outreaches because of both my natural and spiritual tie to my great great grandfather ......Abraham. They said God would bless them because of it. I have replied that it is because of God's promise not me.

VII. The seventh blessing of Abraham Genesis 12:3 ...and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
A. Our acts of obedience, faith, righteousness and walking in the Holy Ghost power will bless all the families of the earth.
B. We must desire it with all our heart and then we will bless all the families of the earth.
1. We do it when we walk and live in the Word and Spirit.
2. God is more anxious to bestow his blessings on us than we are to receive them.

TIME OF REFRESHING

The biblical theme of refreshing has a variety of physical and spiritual meanings. In Scripture we read of refreshment by resting on the Sabbath (Ex. 23:12), with cool water after physical activity (Judg. 15:18-19), by soothing music (1 Sam. 16:23), and with encouraging fellowship (2 Tim. 1:16).
The apostle Peter describes a time of spiritual refreshment that took place on the Day of Pentecost. He exhorted his listeners to repent and respond to the gospel “that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). The apostle’s statement was especially meaningful to the Jewish audience with its reference to the millennium when Messiah would rule. But the good news of spiritual life would also be extended to the Gentiles (Acts 10).
Even now as believers we can experience a time of refreshing by quieting our hearts in a devotional time of prayer and Bible reading. When we spend time alone with the Lord, we can experience His peace and joy which renew us in spirit. Aren’t you thankful for these daily times of spiritual refreshment?
A Prayer: Lord, I need my spirit refreshed and renewed today. Speak to me through Your Word that I might hear Your heart, and help me to share my heart with You in prayer. Amen.
When we draw near to God, our minds are refreshed and our strength is renewed.

Join us in our Second year anniversary as God will be using his prepared vessel to open us up as concerning this topic, God bless you.

FEBRUARY OUR MONTH OF TOTAL/FULL ESTABLISHMENT

Once again I want to use this medium to say congratulations and Happy New MONTH to you in this year of BOUNTIFUL HARVEST 2013. It is a year that is so loaded with unimaginable blessings from heaven for the children of God and also the riskiest year to stay out of the camp of the redeemed of God. (Not to be born again)
There are things that we need to do as covenant children of God in addition to engaging in warfare with the prophecy (Joel 2:23-27). We don’t wish things into place in the kingdom of God but we need to take covenant steps to provoke the manifestation of the blessings as declared by the Lord unto us. Jesus said “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock” Matt 7:24 (KJV). The wisdom there is in doing the word of God.
Below are the highlights of what we are to be mindful of as we walk through this month of February in order to take the delivery of our portion of Divine Establishment.
Our ANCHOR scripture for the month is taken from the book of Jer. 17:7-8-
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is,
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

“…Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”2 Chron 20:20b (KJV)

1. Separation (sanctification) 1Thes 4:3
The word sanctification as it was used in the scripture means to make holy, that is, purify or consecrate; to venerate: – hallow, be holy, separated unto God for glorification. It means righteousness and purity of heart.
It therefore places a demand on us to take advantage of the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross to receive the gift of His Righteousness (i.e. salvation if you are not saved before) and also make a choice to live in righteousness by faith.
a. There is no midway between this. It is either you are saved or not so if you are reading this and have not at any time consciously and willingly accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then you must do it now because like I said earlier this is the riskiest time to stay out of the camp of the redeemed of God. Psalms 1: 4 – 6 made it clear what will be the portion of the ungodly especially in this perilous time. Isaiah 60: 4 (KJV) said “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee”
The darkness that the bible is referring to is not what happen when you have electricity failure or when you switch off your physical light but talking about manifestations of the wickedness of the devil in form of all evil things more than we can imagine.

The only way to escape this darkness is to be born again and be engrafted into the Light that shines that the darkness cannot comprehend or extinguish John 1:4 – 8
This is the foundation for the true holiness without which it is absolutely impossible to see God, man in his fallen state lacked the power to live a holy life but being born of God simply means the nature of God which includes holiness is imputed into you and that serves as a foundation for true holiness!
b. 1Thessalonians 4:3- , Ephesians 5:5-12, 2Cor 7:1, Romans 1:4
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;” 1 Thess 4:3-4 (KJV)
Having received the gift of righteousness we still have the responsibility to live righteously or do righteousness (1John 2:29, 3:7, 10). The grace of God is available for us to do this but we need to desire and decide or make a choice to live holy and abstain from things that can pollute us.
Look at what the Holy Spirit said through Apostle Paul here:
“I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don’t feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for what is ahead. I run toward the goal, so that I can win the prize of being called to heaven. This is the prize that God offers because of what Christ Jesus has done.” Phil 3:12 – 14 (CEV)
This simply that we have the responsibility of pressing towards the mark and as long as we are alive in this flesh that will be needed. The word of God commanded us in Psalms 1:1 that we should not walk, nor stand and never attempt to sit in the zone of unrighteousness and that is the key. Remember that God is Holy and will never tolerate sin in any form but that His grace is sufficient and enough for us. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Holiness and is ever ready to empower us to live holy (Rom 1:4). Pressing without the Holy Ghost is futile (Malachi 3:1 – 4) we need to be powered into and also sustained in life of holiness by Him. He is the refiner’s fire that purifies the saints
2. Love for God, His word and His kingdom
The second step in the journey to Divine Establishment or divine build up is in the second verse of Psalms 1:2. It means to take great pleasure in the word of God and getting soaked in it to the extent that day and night 24/7 your eyes and mind are glued to it.
This is simply talking about the unreserved love for God which is backed up with proofs not just mere confession but love demonstrated. (John 3:16) God loved and He gave, in other words genuine love is demonstrated and is evident. (It has proofs)
True love for God can be measured in the following ways:
Psalms 119:97 Love of His word
Psalms 122:1 Obadiah 17, Psalms 84:7 Love of His house (congregation of the saints)
2Corithians .8:7-8 Love giving to Him (sow seeds)
John 14:21 Love keeping His commandment
God and His Word are one (John 1:1) you cannot truly love God and not love His word, as we allow God to take His rightful position in our lives this year there is no devil that can contend with our testimony of
Divine Establishment in the name of Jesus! Receive the grace to stay on the word day and night in Jesus name
3. Embracing the Ministry of the Holy Spirit
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”. John 3:5-8 (KJV)
Having been born of the Spirit of God, it takes the same ministry of the Holy Spirit to ensure our establishment and profiting in the kingdom of God. Verse 3 of Psalm 1 says that “he shall be as a tree planted by the rivers of water.
This simply means that we should be divinely guided into the place of Divine Establishment as trees of righteousness that we are (Isaiah 613b). There is no room for guess work in this dispensation because it too risky to live life on a guess basis since we don’t have a spare life. This is the time of gross darkness and it makes all sense to allow the one who is the carrier of flood light (the Holy Spirit) to lead.
Remember they thirsted not when He led them through the deserts (Isaiah 28:21) you can only blossom if you are planted by the one who knows the land so take hold of Him today and He is our very present help in the time of trouble.
You will not miss your place in destiny in Jesus name and in case you have been deceived out of your Eden (your God ordained place), I pray that the mercy of the Lord will relocate and restore you today in Jesus name.
4. Faith
“And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper” 2 Chronicles 20:20 (KJV)
Just like the situation that Judah was confronted with was almost overwhelming them, it may seem that the gross darkness of this time is trying to overwhelm you but am telling you as a privileged servant of God that that situation will not triumph over you because the Spirit of the Lord is lifting up a standard against every assault of the devil in your life in Jesus name (Isaiah 59:19). All you need to do is to fight a good fight of faith and believe the Lord your God. Take Him for His word because He is not a liar and can never fail.
All the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 triumphed by faith not by gimmicks so wake up and fight the good fight of faith the Lord is on your side.
This is the main reason why the devil targets your faith because he knows that once he can get you to shift your focus from God and start to look at the circumstances around you like Peter (Mat 14:30) you will begin to sink but that is not your portion in the name of Jesus.
Wake up now, stand up and fight the good fight of faith and no devil will stop your Divine Establishment this year in Jesus name.

The place of Prayer
In all according to Ephesians 6: 18 we need to pray always, nothing can be done in the kingdom of God without prayers which is the channel for securing the backing and power of heaven to do all things in the kingdom of God.
Remember that the journey started by being sanctified or separated unto the Lord, this can only be possible if you are born again.
If you are not saved before and want to take that best decision that you can ever take in your life pray this prayer with me.
“Lord Jesus, thank you for your love for me, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and that you died and rose again on the third day to save me. I am ready to surrender my life to you right now, come into my life, cleanse my sins and be my lord. Thank you Jesus for saving me. In Jesus name (Amen)”.
Remember you are not safe if you are not saved! If you have said that prayer congratulations to you!
Month of February shall deliver unto you FULL and TOTAL ESTABLISHMENT in Jesus precious name amen.
